“Spirit Together!” at the Winter World Masters Games, Innsbruck 2020

The WWMG 2020 has been the world’s greatest winter sports festival for 30+ year olds. According to the official slogan “spirit together”, athletes have been given the chance to rub shoulders with ex-Olympians and test their talent at old Olympic Venues such as Patscherkofel and Olympiaworld.

More than 3,000 athletes participated in Innsbruck last week to celebrate this unique winter sports festival. They competed for more than 2,000 medals in twelve different sports:

Cross-Country Skiing
Ski Jumping
Nordic Combined
Ski Orienteering
Ski Mountaineering
Figure Skating
Speed Skating
Short Track
Ice Hockey
Curling

Promoting the “sport for all” philosophy and the Olympic values, they strived to perform their personal best in respect and friendship between each other.
